VIN Vehicle Identification Number
I have a 82 Delta 88 Olds I need to know where all of the places for it's VIN Vehicle Identification Number.
The one on the dash is all rusted and can not open the driver door sense it has not ran in about 7 years and now have some $ to fix it but need the VIN Vehicle Identification Number.

The most obvious places to look would be:
1- Title
2- Veh Registration
Less Obvious (Hidden) - NO GUARANTEES, BUT WORTH A TRY
1- On the transmission, it may have the same VIN derivative stamped on the edge flange of the tranny case, driver side above where the pan gasket is. You'll see a flat machined pad there with a partial VIN.
2- Behind the heater blower housing on firewall (requires removal)
3- Stamp pad on engine (driver side, above exhaust manifold, below head)
