i posted in intake section as i need advice on keeping a computer controlled carb and computer controlled 4 speed overdrive tranny from 86 olds 307 to work with 72 olds rocket 350. i want any info or who i should contact to get answers i need. thanks to all comments, and even opinions.

 

You have to keep the 307 carb and distributor. You will need to get an EGR intake as well to keep the EGR in tact to keep the computer happy.
You may need to source some different exhaust manifolds as well due to the odd port configuration on the 86 307.
If you can get them from an earlier 307 (83-85) then you should be in good shape.
