63 super 88 or 60 dynamic 88?
I currently have a 1960 Oldsmobile 88. I need to have a car up and running for the road when I turn 16, and the cars in pretty rough shape. it has a cracked windshield and a large dent from hitting a tree. it's pretty rusted out in some spots and the seats are ripped. the engine is in pieces and it doesn't even have wheels. the dude I bought it from had chrome dome wheels on it-all matching-and when he brought it to my house, he had tires from old trailers on it. one of the windows has been derailed, and the rear bumper is slightly bent.
I have found a 63 olds super 88 and I'm wondering if I should stick with the old one or get a hardly rusted car with a running engine and original tires. I really do like my dynamic 88 but I think I should get the 63. it has its original bill of sale and everything. what are your thoughts on my situation? please reply. Thank you. |
Go with the '63. How much money and time to you have, or want to spend, getting the 60 on the road is the real question. I suspect not as much as would be required.

Thanks. I ended up going with the '63.
