72 442 clutch adjustment
I posted this in the 442 area but thought it might get more viewing in the general area.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum.
It's been 9 years since I've been back to the forum.
I just tock possession of my new to me 1972 442 convertible, yesterday. I've only had time for a short ride due to bad weather but it seems like the clutch must be pushed all the way to the floor to be able to shift. The car was converted from auto to manual during the restoration. Every thing is supposed to be new including the clutch rods, disk pressure plate etc. If the clutch grabs too low is that adjustable or could I have the wrong through out bearing, or?
Another thing I've discovered is the glove box door is misaligned and the latch will not turn. Neither key works in the ****. I'd like to investigate but don't know how to open the door. Are there any tricks.
