I just found this site today and had lots of questions about a 455 Olds motor that I want to install in my 79 TA.. I know its not going into an Olds but I had the original #'s matching 403 Olds in my car but it was lost by my friends father. He was supposed to rebuild it thru an automotive program he worked at but it closed and he never contacted me about the car so it got thrown out!!!

So now since I don't have the #'s matching motor anymore I wanted to upgrade to the 455 but I'm trying to gather information, along with a motor, but I just want to make sure I get all my facts straight before I start gathering the parts..

I've posted something in the engine section about what I'm thinking about doing so any help there would be huge...
