Looking for anyone with experience with this engine and knowledge with what components it was originally equipped with.

I finally have learned that I have a 1986 3.8 liter engine that
actually is from the correct year and engine style. The engine was
swapped several years back and I did not know what I really had until I
tore down the engine. The Vin Code indicates that I am supposed to have
a (B) engine and I found out that I have just that. I removed the top
half of the engine and saw the flat lifters for myself which is the
main indicatior of a (B) Vin Code Engine.



Now with that Mystery Solved, does anyone here know what to look for
when severcing this engine. Are there any obivious flaws or defects
from GM that I should be made aware of? Please reply back.
