Angry 1996 olds 2.4 achieva sl starts for 3 sec

Hi gang Im pulling my hair out on this one.
This has to do with a can of worms and i have it!!
This is a friend of mine and its been to two garages and its still not running
Let me tell you whats been done
This 2.4 starts and runs for two sec and stops.
This did have a remote start and alarm in it and has been taken out.
The wires where all chopped and wires hanging everywere so i went in and repaired all the wiring.
It has had a new Ignition Switch Replaced and it still does the same thing.
So i went and checked on by passing the security and it says to wait 15 min till the security light stops flashing and cut the yellow wire that was cut before so the remote starter could be installed.
Its the same but know the security light will stay on and wont flash.
When it starts it stays lit for 3 sec then starts to flash for only 3 flashes then stays on steady then i can start it again and it does the same thing.
Before i cut the wire it would take 15 min to reset so i could start it again.
My friend said he had one do it and they had to replace the dash so i got one out of the junk yard that was running and replaced it and same thing!!
Does anybody have any idear what would be doing this
or if i can by pass this thing
this is a beater for him to go back and forth to work so he dont care about the security
Please help!!! woody

I did notice somebody put a aftermarket radio in would that have anything to do with it?
