350 runnig rough

hi gang im new here,hoping for a little help. can anyone tell me the signs of a stretched timing chain? 79 350 4bbl ? not sure what its from right now its in my 84 blazer im using asa plow . i got it 2 winters ago ran good the 1st winter 2nd winter it started acting up had to keep cleaning the plugs they were always turning black with carbon so i changed them it ran ok for a short time then samething. i changed the cap rotor wires cleaned the old rotchester 4bbl and put a kit in it all new filters new gas lines ran ok for a day,now im scratching my head again. plugs are black again, its bucking and jumping all over the place and very very hard on gas like 5 miles to the gallon. the #s say its an olds engine. help ,anyone. thanks.

Use a timing light. Do the marksjump?


Carbon fouled...could still be carb.
