According to the 70/71 Parts Manual that relay is only correct for 1971 Chargers......70 Charger shows relay 3004186....however I dont see that relay anywhere in the wiring diagram for 70 Charger power windows. Any 70 P/W experience out there?

 

Thanks alot guy Thats exactly what I needed to know. My window switch will go at the end of that negative line. In other words it will be the source of ground for the relay, going through the FPSS and rull throttle switch.

Could I use a 71 power window relay? What wires hook up to it and where do they go?The wiring diagrams in the service manual dont seem to clearly show how this gets wired into the power window wiring and into the power source.Im an electrical novice....I dont even understand what the relay does...why is it needed? Why cant I just run a feed directly into the fuse box?Im confused...can you tell?
