Thumbs down 95' cutlass supreme, idles rough and dies...

I have a 1995 Olds cutlass supreme, When I start my car it runs for awhile and once it gets warm it starts to idle rough and then eventually dies. When I go to turn it over again it wants to start but wont. If I leave the car for a few hours and come back the car will start right up but eventually does the same thing. I've changed my fuel filter, my coils, the plate under the coils, my thermostat and i'm lost as to what could be the problem. I had a diagnostic check on my car last year and no codes came up. Ideas?

Ive seen a lot of these engines where the crankshaft position sensor gets too hot and the car cuts off. The engine cannot start with out a crank signal to the computer. The crank sensor is located behind the harmonic balancer, it has a 3 wire connector. One quick test we do at my shop is to get the engine hot enough to where it will cut off. If you can get lucky and the engine cuts off in front of you, quickly get about a gallon of cold water and dump it all over the sensor, now try to start the car. if the car starts you just found your problem. This is a very common problem with those engines. This is about the best answer I can give with the little details you gave. Hope i could help.
