Does anyone know the instructions to program a new keyless entry remote for a 2001 oldsmobile alero.

 

I have a 95 cutlass that programmed by turning on the ignition and while pressing on the remote touching a wire from the power antenna plug to a grounding out on the body of the car. My car had a wire with a male plug end just hanging and I attached a wire to it and then grounded it out on the body of the car. Hope this helps and let me know. C.W.

 

yeah pretty sure you going to need the tech 2 for this operation...

 

Most remotes can be programmed manually at home without any tools or technical skills.
