I Have an 01 alero that won't start......fuel pump is working and it has new fuel filter good spark but won't start checked all of the fuses and relays...the security light keeps flashing but not sure if it has anything to do with the problem...it will run on ether but cuts out of course once the ether burns off someone told me it could be a cam shaft sencor or something of that nature but wanted to see if anyone had a second opinion before i go through all of that trouble...

is the security light on the dash flashing? try a different key, the little chip in your key may have crapped out.
