here i am =stumped! old mechanic with a 1986 olds calis 4 cyl tbi & with distributor. Im trying to set crank timing & cante get close. there are no vacumn lines on distributor so im guessing thats computer controlled on advance / retard? Yet i need to get that turned off somehow to be avble to set basic timing. Im just guessing i likely have to jump some wires to disable that a2 the computer test connector under drivers side dash?? yet=?? which wired do i jump? I cannot find anything on doing this in any manuals or online?? Anyone help? done this? know about this?? Thanx in advance .
