I COULD USE SOME HELP IDENTIFYING THE TIMING DEGREE MARKS ON MY 1969 CUTLASS .I CAN NOT READ THEM AND HAVING ISSUES ON A CONVERSION FROM POINTS TO HEI.THE CAR HAS A 350 4 BARREL

are you talking about the timeing tab on the timeing cover. if so paint it white then get something and wipe the paint off. the paint should stay in the numbers. then you can read em. if your talking about the slot on the balancer. do the same thing.thats what i do when i can't find the chalk.and about the HEI.just make sure you have a olds heI.350 or 455.there the same.plus connect the hot wire to the hei with a full 12 volts.don't use the resister on the firewall.you may alredy know this but just tring to help. while your at it. you can runthe hot wirefrom the hei inside the car to atoggle switch then to the fusebox.hide the switch so only you know where it is. then hopefully nobody can take it for a joyride.know what i mean.Edited by: stevesolds455da
