can some one please give me a clue where to look for the problem of on an 1986 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham.

The left tail light works, and show the braking, and turn signal
correctly when the headlights and marker lights aren't on, but when you
go and turn on the headlights and marker lights with the switch in the
instrument panel then the hi beam of left tail light is stuck making it
look like I am braking.

meanwhile the low beam part of the bulb is functioning properly, but
you can't see it working without looking directly at the bulb (hurt my
eyes,[img]smileys/smiley16.gif[/img] lol) because the high beam that is stuck is so bright! What could it possibly be, a crossed wire???
