Hi I am hoping to get some help diagnosing my problem. I am female but know a little about cars and would just like to save some money doing stuff myself. Okay so the problem is sometimes when driving the gas pedal suddenly does nothing, no rev nothing the car acts as if it wants to stall but doesn't. I continue to mash the gas over and over and then it comes back to normal again. The car has been idling a little rough but its has been for some time. This new problem just recently started and only happens every so often. I have checked lines, injectors etc for leaks. I am thinking it must have to be a sensor because its like the car doesn't realize the gas is being pushed. Which sensor would cause this? Tps? No check engine light.
