I have a 1970 Olds 442. I changed over to guages from idiot lights. The oil pressure sending unit is too large and hits the backing plate for the water pump. Did Olds use adapters to swing it away or is the sending unit I ordered is not correct? Anyone have this problem. Would appreciate any info. This is the second unit I ordered. Two different manufacturers. Thank you.
