I have a '97 Silhouette with the 3.4 L engine. I've noticed some loss of coolant recently. I haven't been able to find any leaks, but the coolant is getting on the serpentine belt and it is slinging the coolant all over the place. I don't see any connections of any sort near the belt that would cause leaking in any way. My reasoning is that the water pump might be leaking around the shaft, running down to the outer lip of the pulley and working its way onto the belt. Does this sound logical? Any help would be appreciated. Later!

START WITH THE RADIATOR CAP.IF YOU HAVE NEVER REPLACED IT THAT WILL BE A VERY INEXPENSIVE PART AND ITS PAST TIME FOR A NEW ONE.
