Day before yesterday, I bought a 1992 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. I got the car for a decent price, but I spent all my available cash funds for the car. The stereo has the message LOC on it after I replaced the battery.The previous owner did not have the unlock code, so I am stumped as to how to unlock it. The local GM stealership said they can unlock it for $60.00. The stereo worked fine before I changed the battery. Can anybody please help with this issue!!!! It is an AM/FM CD with steering wheel controls.

I've seen auctions on ebay that, for around $4, they will give you the code. I'm betting that if you went to Best Buy or a stereo store, you could slip them a fiver an they'd do it o the spot.
