Hi all,

Have 03 alero and has a problem when filling the tank. It takes gas extremely slow. I have checked for a kinked or twisted hose but could not find an easy problem. So i''m up for sugestions. I did a search but could not find an answer.

Thanks in advance for the help Glen

A kink would be my guess also. However, there is a line that lets air out of the tank when you are filling it. If that plugs or is twisted, the tank would pressurize and not fill quickly. I believe it runs alongside the main filler hose.

Also, it''s always possible something is stuck in you filler hose. I''m not sure how hard that is to remove and check, but you could try sticking something down there to see of there is an obstruction.

Maybe someone else has more info on this. Try posting in the Alero section, you may get better results. Also, welcome to Oldsmobile forums!
