Red face wanted: Ball & Ball Carburetor

I am looking for 1918 Olds 45A carburetor. It is a Penberthy Ball & Ball DV type. Used only 1917-1919 maybe. I need to duplicate the float if possible or parts like the jets etc. If you have one please contact me so I may get some information only. I am in desperate need to get this car running.

Does it have a brass float? If so, it could have a pinhole leak and it could have gas inside of it causing it to sink. If the float is sunk the float needle will be off of it's seat allowing gas to flood your carburetor. A quick check is to shake the float (out of the carb) and listen for sloshing. It will also feel a little heavier.

Default Float

The float is supposed to be brass but someone made a float out of cork and it wasn't sealed so it swelled and had to be cut out of the bowl. I now need to make a brass one but I don't have one to duplicate. I have recently received some measurements for the correct float but now I need to find someone to make one.
