Default Whats Wrong? Car runs till warm.

I have a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3100 3.1 liter Engine.

The car runs fine when i start it up until the car gets warm. Then when it is warm and i go to accelerate and the car hits around 2000 RPMS it sputters and runs really bad and shuts off. Right from the beggining when the car is cold i press the gas and around 4 RPMS it sputters but will run until warm then it runs bad and shuts off. What could be the cause of this?

I wonder if you have an airflow sensor problem. I would buy a can of Mass Airflow sensor cleaner (do not use carb cleaner) and clean it. You may also have an Idle Air control problem. The throttle body could also need cleaned.

There is a good video on youtube that shows you how to read the computer codes on that car and then you will know for certain if you have a problem that the computer recognizes and you can fix many of the problems shown in the code simply by buying whatever part is called out and replacing it then disconnect the battery for a minute and when you reconnect it the code will be clear if you have fixed the problem. It sounds simple but the computer doesn't recognize all problems but it's a good place to start.
