go to Crutchfield.com

they have great speakers selections, and if you tell them which car you have, they can give you customized, detailed instructions.

I had the same problem, a speaker was blown when I bought the car used. I bought some speakers from Crutchfield.com, the shipped quickly, and took only an hour to install myself.

I've included some detailed instructions. This should help tremendously, its really quite easy.

The directions are here

First, you are going to need some tools.

Door Panel Tool
Phillips Screwdriver
Flat Head Screwdriver
Socket, ratchet, & extension
1/4" socket tool
10mm socket tool
T27 Torx Driver

I just took my door panel off to replace the speaker with the instructions from the link below. I didn't have a removal tool, but an extra-large, long screwdriver worked. Just take it slow and easy. There are plastic tabs that line up with holes in the door panel, and you have to pry them loose.

My project raises another question, too though. The new 5-1/4" speakers I'm installing have their own tweeters (unlike the factory speakers). There also are factory tweeters still in the door, which were connected to the 5-1/4's. Will the speakers sound strange/different with 2 tweeters? Should I disconnect the old ones?

(I'll ask the question in its own separate post, too).
