2000 intrigue speakers
I have a 2000 intrigue. the rear speakers cut out and go very quiet most the time.I seems I can only hear the highs, when they are working if i have some bass on them i can tell they are in bad shape. before i go on a wild goose chase lookingfor a short does anyone know of a common problem that causes this. Thanks In Advance

Try a different speaker see if it cuts out too. Your best bet is to just buy new ones. One what size it's up to you. Do you want just replacments or do you want big a$$ speakers. If you need help taking it out for replacments let me know i'll walk you through it. It's not that simple to get to.

What it was supossed to say was whaen i add bass there in not to bad of shape. every thing is stock and this may sound weird but Im in a northern climant andthey seem to work after the car sits in the sun for bit and warms up. there working again this afternoon so ill test my theory in the morning when its 10 degrees out.
Well I think I got something here. This morning once again thespeakers were not working properly.( it was about 11 degrees out)This afternoon when I got back into my car after it sat in the sun and warmed the inside up the speakers worked again. Anybody have any idea whats causing this. Im pretty sure the cause is the temperature in the trunk becuase it doesnt matter what the cabin temperature is.
