Hey, new to the forums and hoping someone can help me with my car. I have a 1998 Intrigue (3.8L), and its really running bad lately.... even stalling out at times. Some people are telling me that its the mass air flow sensor, but before I replace it I want to test the circuit to make sure it is the sensor and not wiring. Does anyone know how to test it...... are the two wires just power and ground or whats up? And does it have constant power? \

Another thing I was wondering about was my high beam headlights. The lever for the high beams work because the indicator shows on the dash, but the high beams dont come on, the headlights go off all together. Any suggestions/ ideas? Is there a fuse or relay for the high beams that I could check?Edited by: Strickland

yeah, actually the service engine soon light is on and so is the check engine light. Some people tell me that it could also be the plugs and wires, but the rough idling is intermittent. In the mean time, theres 180000km on the car and I think the plugs and wires are original. What do you think?

No, the high beams are NOT burned out because I have hooked them up to a toggle switch. I'm just wondering why they wont work on the lever, is there a relay gone or could the lever switch be gone???
