I have found that whenI start my 98 intrigue it seems to be followed by a bunch of noises that come from the engine. I can feel odd vibrations in the pedal during start-up as well. Is this normal? I am used to Nissan vehicles and came across this car via a friend. So far I am less thank happy w/ this thing. I have a 98 w/ 59k on it. I don't think itshould be issuing odd noises just yet?? I thoughtit could be the rack & pinion repair called for in the recall but this is not thecase. Possible this car is not used to the Jersey rush! Any feedback?

 

i have a 99 intrigue and sometimes when i start it up i hear somekind of whistling noise coming out of the engine during the first few minutes of the car running. is that what u r talking about?
