I have a 2001 intrigue with the factory Bose system and the rear skearkers rattle like crazy when the music is up loud almost to the point where i wish i hadn't bought the car. Any suggestions you guys recommend to stop the speaker rattle, i really dont want to take it to one of those car stereo places

...when the music is up loud...yeah...

Pull the speakers and see if they are torn or damaged. My money is on that.

i dont think its the speakers themselves, its the speaker covers, when i press on the speaker covers or press down on the rear deck, the rattle stops. so i might have to do something with those, and i'm playing my Rap music loud with all the bass up.

...rap music...lotsa bass...real loud...yeah...

If it's the rear speaker housings (however they are mounted) rattling, then you might just want to tear into it and pad it better. Or get a sub and rattle the whole car...

i agree with the one guy, i think it the rear speaker housing, i will probably have to tear into and pad it better, i noticed that the whole rear deck is nothing but air in between the frame and the top of the rear deck. even when the radio is off and i go over bumbs, the housing makes noise. is it hard to tear into the deck and pad it? and by the way i am putting subs in it.
