I saw another post about this, but there was no response. I am also having a starting problem with my 1999 GLS Intrigue, 60k miles. The car requires 2-3 turns of the key to get it to fire, and even then it struggles. The battery is fine. What is wrong?! Thanks for your help

 

I have had this problem with my car too, except mine has 100k mileson it.


Idk if it's caused by now warming the car up during the winter.

 

I have a 2000 with 40,000---had your problem while under warranty---dealer fixed "crank sensor"---and starter---I also replaced battery a while later----still have problem with it not catching stater at times---but until it becomes bigger problem--will deal with it----good luck

 

EGR valve!!!!!!!!!!!!!clean or replace it
