I have a '98 3.8L with 107,000 miles, I just purchased the car a week ago and I was wondering if anyone can tell where the temp gauge usually reads. Mine floats right around the half way mark and a little higher, Is this a normal operating temp? And does anyone know where I can find a A- pillar gauge pod? Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Welcome badaddy,

As far as your temp gauge It sounds about right. I have a
2000 olds Intrigue GX. Mines reads just below the half
mark. I don't think you have to worry to much unless it goes past
the 3/4 mark. And as far as the three pods I think the alero pods
will work I don't know for sure. I'm thinking about doing the
same thing.

Stupid question: Is your intrigue right hand drive? I know it's a dumb question but I just want to know for sure.

Hey thanks for the reply, and to answer your question about right hand drive the answer is no, assuming you mean the steering wheel being on the right hand side. I didn't realize GM made cars with right hand drive.
