Hi all! In about an hour I will be in possession of a 1968 442 convertible! Got it for a steal, and it needs just enough work that I can have some sweat equity in it, but is drivable as is!


It's stock for the most part, but I'm interested in getting it as stock as I possibly can (OEM air cleaner, etc.), so I will be asking a lot of questions in that vein. The first unusual thing about this car is that it is an automatic with the gear selector on the steering column. Looks factory, could someone shed some light on that?
