91 olds toronado trofeo (disable starter)

Hello, I have a 91 olds toronado trofeo with the information center in the speedometer area on dash, weather that matters, I do not know, but, my problem is that I have had an oil leak for some time, and the underside of my car is oilly and yuckky, well, my husband sprayed the underside off with a power washer, and now my car won't turn over when you turn the ignition key. Also, before that, the information panel read " starter disabled". It now will crank but not turn over, so it will not idle, period.
