I have been an Olds nut for as long as I can remember. My brother was a Chevy freak so I guess being the blacksheep Olds was the perfect fit. I have a 1966 442 w/68 Hurst Olds 455 along with a 1976 Cutlass 600 hp 455. A stock only 2nd owner 1978 Cutlass with the chevy 305 stock from the factory. Still has the original am/fm 8 track along with the plastic seat cover on the rear seat. Fully optioned.

Soon to be, my 1976 Buick Custom station wagon will be breathing Olds. We are transplanting a 1970 Olds 455 with TH400 into the big girl to give her a little fire breathing attitude.

The 76 has first year Hurst Dual gate so even though built TH400, it still is testy even though it is somewhat large it will break em loose with 295 50R 15's T/A's all the way around. Who ever said you couldn't put that size tire on the front of a 76 Cutlass has not idea how large the tire compartment is...Pet project is to swap out the 305 from the little cutlass with a 83 307 with 4 speed auto. The 305, well that is all goes well will be in the 76 Vega GT with stock Borg Warner 5 speed. Nice bolt up for a stock little chevy motor. If not, than I got a guy offering me a 78 Dodge 4x4 rough body but all works with a 318 for the Vega. I may take him up on the offer.

I need the wagon, we call it the "Min-Pin Pen". I raise Miniature Pinschers. So all 10 have a great view of the road without all craming the coupes doors to stand and see out.

I should have them on here shortly. I am in process of removing heads on the 442 and replacing with new gaskets and head bolts.

Broke off one of the head bolts last year.

The Cutlass, we are doing final adjustments on the carb linkage. Cable finally wore out.

The Buick, well we finally got the 70 Olds 455 pulled last weekend. It purrs like a kitten so no alterations. Original owners bought it so they would have something to pull their travel trailer in summer. I have all new carb, valve cover and exhaust gaskets ordered. We are pressure washing and degreasing this weekend to prep for new paint. Olds gold with black pulleys, brackets etc.

Hopefully will have the 350 buick motor out and engine compartment cleaned and repainted within the next 3 weeks than just praying it will go in ok.

Have some typical wiring issues. Voltage regulator to internal. Electronic ignition to stock points. Battery on opposite side from starter. All the typical things. Only concern is the Olds has heat riser set up where the buick does not. The driver side exhaust runs directly under the oil pan and connects to the riser on the passenger side. We are not sure if the Buick frame will allow this. If not than no more heat riser and have to fab new driver side exhaust.

It will be fun once done. It is my "Min Pin Pen". I raise Miniature Pinschers and this is the only car they (all 10) like riding in. They don't have to stand up to see out and have nearly 8' of flat space and large windows to look out while laying down.

Hopefully once all are ready I can get the pic up and on.
