I have an oldsmobile cutlass supreme 3.1 v6, 1997. For some reason the courtesy light do not go off when the car is on. When I turn off the engine these lights go off after a few minutes. I go to the car one hour after and I can turn the lights on and off at their respective switches. The lights that stay on while the car is running are the ones on the rear view mirror and the one above the rear right passenger side. Can some on help me. Does anyone have an electronic manual for this model.

thanks

it sounds like maybe the switch is bad, or maybe something is wired in wrong?

Thank you Sir.

What I notice is that the switches on the doors have no effect when you
open or close them. If I recall, when you open the door the light
should come on, and when you close it they should go off. I think that
is what should happen. There is no difference.

You mentioned a switch may be bad. Can you tell me which one should I check. I do not think that all are bad.

Thanks

marvin
