My name is Joe, I live in Missoula Montana and attend Missoula College of Technology. Recently I purchased my 1st car, a 1987 calais 2 door coupe, and I guess its specail edition because thats what it says on the door handle. I have not had the pleasure to drive it due to a broken ankle but it sounds like a truck which is pretty cool, 5 speed manual tranmission which i really like, and the suckers room as hell for being a compact car. it was orginally marked at 500 on craigslist but 300 dollars cash was what i offered and the bite so i was pretty happy, we had a good 30 minute ride home and aside from the battery dieing a few times ( i guess it was in a feild for 6 months) it seem to drive just fine. after buying my car I realized i really wanted to learn about them since i never have before and i really like oldsmobile so i decided to start here.

Congrats on the car. $300 is a steal. I have never seen one with a 5 speed so thats probably why its special edition.
