Hey, I'm new. My sister drives an Alero, and I'm looking for a steady forum to find answers to the many questions I have. I'm starting off with car audio, and then I want to do performance.


My sister drives the Alero, but it's in my name. It's a sub-100K mile 2001 with a 2.4L, but it has a K&N (stock housing). The filter is the only performance mod because my sister & I have such weird schedules that I can never look at the car. However, it's so cold that I probably wouldn't want to work on it if I had the chance.


Given the cold weather, I put in fully synthetic motor oil as well, and now I feel a lot better about my sister, herein Kristina, driving the car with the little warming up she gives it.


Now, I'm off to the audio section(s).
