Default Hey from Texas

Hey everyone, just joined the site.
So here's the story on my car. A friend's gandma bought it brand new in '89, and then let it sit in her driveway for the last 20 years. It only had 40k miles when I bought it, and I've put about 3k on there since being in college. The car was in perfect running condition, just needed to get tagged and inspected. Only a few cosmetic issues: paint is dull with some rust, the rear passenger armrest was broken, the headliner was hanging down, front speakers were bad, struts are out, and water was leaking in where weather stripping was cracked around the windshield and rear window. Only paid $500 for the car.
Since then I've treated the rust ($5), used filler to fix the weather stripping ($5), glued the weather stripping along the door jams ($5), fixed the armrest ($2), replaced the front speakers ($100), installed 12" DUB subs and a 600W Xplode amp ($90 total, including installation kit and wires), installed a new deck ($100), and bought 17" Panther Stellar chomies with low prof's ($200).
So now it's legal, looking better, and working amazing. Still need to save up for a paint job though, and I'm replacing the struts, but was looking at different options in order to fit the rims. I'll explain that in another post.
I hope to get some videos and audio up soon. Thanks for the site!
