Car is a 1970 Olds 98 with 455 and air. Also convert.

The gas guage always registers full. Near the trunk

latch there is a connection from the tank sensor and you

get a voltage reading that varies as you rock the car. I feel the

problem is in the guage, but how do I check the guage? How

many OHMs should it draw?

Forget ohms. Take the other end of that connector and ground it. Your gas gauge should read dead empty. If it still reads full, it's time to look behind the dash.
