Default new guy from MT

hi guys and gals, my name is dan

i recently acquired a 1968 olds 98 sedan, mostly because my wife was in love with it, it has a 455.it runs, drives, stops, ect as it should, but has been sitting for 12 years. so-it needs aesthetics, tires, vinyl top, things like that

i joined in hopes of finding parts sources and restoration tips, thanks

My focus hasn't been on this old of an Oldsmobile yet, but I like to use the power of the eBay search engine to get an idea. A lot of the salvage yards might be able to answer your question, too.

I make specific searches through eBay and then subscribe to them... in your case one a little more in depth than this one:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Exterior-/33...%207.5L&_sop=3

Also, from what I can tell, places such as East West Auto Parts (https://www.eastwestautoparts.com/?page_id=116) or GM Sports Salvage (http://gmsportssalvage.com) might be able to help you out. I see 1968 and 1969 Olds 88 Fender for sale on their "for sale" page http://gmsportssalvage.com/?q=node/58 and giving them a call might tell you whether it will fit OR they know what will.

I hope I've been able to help you out! I'm hunting rare 1980s Olds parts (thanks a lot, Cash for Clunkers!) so I feel your pain!
