Default New guy from Ontario Canada

Hey everyone just found this site 5 mins ago! Looking forward to getting back into the world of torque. I have been playing with chevys for the last few years and miss the low rpm punch of a high compression BBO. Nothing in the garage right now but looking for a BOP to restore with my 3 sons who are just hitting their teens. Thankfully they have rejected the 4cyl tuner trend and will be the only teenagers in the region with a classic Olds as their high-school ride. We are looking for a solid Jetstar1 to restore and/or a 70 or earlier Delta 88 coupe. I already have a .030 over 455 with a balanced rotating assembly ready to build when we find some good heads. We now live in the Canadian rust belt so I assume our project will have to come from the Southern USA. Our previous ride was a 64 Jetstar88 2dr holiday with a 455 we built and installed ourselves. We also put front disc brakes and a turbo 400 trans into it and lots of suspension work. I foolishly sold it when we moved from Alberta to Ontario and have seen nothing but bondo buggies in our price range down here. Anyone who has a moderately priced full size Olds for sale let me know!
All that aside, I ended up here today looking for info regarding a 2003 Alero GLS owned by my Mother. I will post my question in the correct thread but thought I would check in here first.
Cheers,
Rob

Welcome! Or should one say welome back?

Sounds like a great project for you and those teen sons! Hope they can stand up to the "peer pressure" from the tuner crowd?
