I've owned 442s and hot Oldsmobiles since 1965, when I bought my first new 442 in 1965. That was a peppy car, but not a true muscle car. My next ride was a 1966 OAI (not a W-30) car, called "track pack" incorrectly by many. After that, I owned:
- A 69 W-31
- A 70 W-30 auto
- A 72 CS converted to 71 SX specs and running a W-25 hood and 1970 442 AMT cam
- A 1974 H/O
- Another 1969 post W-31 Auto
- A 67 442 converted to W-30 specs
- A 68 post 442 SMT
- A 70 442 W-30 Convert (foolishly sold it in 1982)
- My current ride - a 1968 442 W-25 automatic hdtp (retired race car)
