What is the oldest olds on this forum?
#1
Hi.
My name is Joe and I'm an Autoholic. I recently came out of the trunk when friends suggested I go to the Henry Ford Clinic. My first car was (and I still own) a 1948 Oldsmobile "Dynamic 66" 4door sedan that I purchased when I was 16 back in the year 1990.
Since that time, I would buy all sorts of cars in all sorts of conditions. It’s an addiction. When I got to 28 cars in various states of disrepairis when I decided to seek help.As a matter of fact, my wife and I built a garage before we built a house... and since the house is not built yet, we're moving into the garage. The garage is not too crazy... just a modest 16 car garage -2 story - 2 lifts.
Now that I am 33, and having my first child on the way (the wife is due Friday) I am modifying my collection to keeping the cars that I have restored and narrowing my search to just Oldsmobiles or vehicles with wood spoke wheels. All other project vehicles will be leaving me. With a helpful group like this, I hope to stay on track.
So what is the oldest Oldsmobile on this group??
I have (3) from 1915, (1) from 1947 and (1) from 1948.
Check out my site at: www.geocities.com/oldsmobile1915
Thanks again,
Joe Ferrero
