Alright I am going through the site deleting all the spam threads and the members who posted them. I started on the Alero section first. I did this because the Alero section is where I post the most and I own one

Now I know there aren''t many regulars on the site but for the ones that do still come on, I thank you for putting up with the spam for this long.If I have missed any and you think it should be deleted just shoot me a PM with the posters name.

I have also added two more Admins, ilikecars and Iflylow. I choose them because the are both very knowledgeable and have both been here longer than I have. They will have the same admin tools I have and are free to delete anything or delete anyones profile they see fit.

Thank you

All sections have been cleaned. If you see any spam that I have missed or it is new, PM me and it will disappear.

137profiles have been deleted so far. All of which posted nothing but spam.

In addition to the fine work Rusty has done, I have started going through the member list. Members who do not post and have names like "BuyCheapViagra", "BestGermanGirls" and similar names are being deleted. Hopefully this will help control the spam in the future.

If you have any suggestions or comments, please post them in the OF Comments and Suggestions section. Thanks for your patience and help!

Glad to see the spring cleaning was getting to the point where I did not want to even look at site as most of the posts had nothing to do with Oldsmobiles or cars in general which is the reason I belong here.

Well I''m glad you stuck around. We have a little team now that can clean up all the garbage.

Congrats to you for taking the initiative to do the cleanup... I'm on a fair number of forums, and the ones that get continuous traffic and have steady post flow are the ones which have active moderators. As a new member here, I'm glad to hear that this will be one of those forums. Thanks!
