We own a 1997 Olds Silhouette with the 3.4L engine. It is slightly over its inspection date and the horn isn''t working. I''ve checked the fuse and relay(if that''s what it is) labeled HORN in the fuse box and both are OK. It will work sometimes and just make a bumping sort of noise other times. The battery output is OK as well. Problem is I can''t even find the thing under the hood. Can someone explain how this type of horn works. I''m hoping it may just need a minor fix, like something in it is sticking, thus causing it to work part time. We don''t use the van much, but do need to pass inspection. Thanks in advance. Later!
