Default mystery connector (please help!)

Hello all, im an aspiring mechanic. I just finished my first full engine rebuild and im very excited to see it purr to life. One problem, i have this mysterious connector seemingly the only one i didn't label in the removal process.

this is a 1997 olds silho 3400 sfi
the wire comes out right next to the fuse block, its long with a 2 prong connector and several grey clips across the length.

please help me, project is done outside of this connector and a proper break in.

It may have something to do with a California emissions package. I know my 2000 Impala has a few unused connectors like that. It seems like GM just used one harness for all the cars and only plugged in the connectors needed for that particular vehicle.
I would try to start it and see what happens.
It doesn't look like there is anywhere for it to plug in to anyway. It was probably for some piece of equipment your van doesn't have.

Default extra connector

I just did the same thing. This drove me crazy but all that connector goes to is the underhood light that is connected on the hood. Cheers!
