I have a 2003 Alero, 80,000 miles. The noise appears to be from the front end, best described as a "rumble" sound. Most prevalent over rough roads, but always there. I have replaced both front struts and strut bearings, also both front wheel bearings. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Gary

I was thinking the same thing. The car has Champion HR (Firestone no name) tires. I purchased the car used and the Champions were on the car. I am just exploring other possibilities before I get new tires.

Thank you for the reply,

Gary

I was under the car this weekend. I looked very closely and didn''t see anything out of the ordinary. Even the bushings for the anti-sway bars looked good. I think the response by ilikecars is correct, probably the tires. I appreciate ilikecars response. If anyone else has any other suggestions it would be much appreciated!
