Default Ignition Control Module

Hello,
I have a 2003 Alero, 2.2l engine, has about 120,000 miles. I have replaced 2 ignition control modules. It has gotten to the point where I carry a spare! Someone told me to check the ICM ground connection. Where is it located exactly? I am in Northern Illinois without a heated garage. have others had similar problems with the ignition control module (ICM) for the 2.2l Ecotec engine? I would think that there was a reason why GM did a major redesign going to the 4 coil arrangement as in the 2.4l version.

Thankyou in advance!

Gary
