Yeah, i think they did...but hey guys. I noticed something this morning that has me scared outta my mind. I was at a gas station fueling up and when i cranked up i looked in my mirror and i noticed black smoke. At 1st i dismissed the idea, but curiosity got the best of me so i shut down the engine and opened the door. well, wehn i started it up again i jumped out and walked to the back only to find black smoke coming from my exhaust. I revved the engine and so far it only comes out when i start it up. Now i had the oil changed about a month ago and i realized that its only like 100miles over due for another.Any clues to what could be the issue?

check out www.grandamgt.com - they have tons of posts, search it out before you post though to cut down on repeat posts -- since the GrandAm and the Alero used the same engines we can share troubles and fixes!
