where can i finds some of these clamps???

and the muffler shop torch cutted a cut into the pipe directly before the cat and put some type of pressure clamp over the cut and then reved on the car to see how much pressure is tryin to escape through there cut. mine went to about 10 pounds of pressure just from reving on it in park. there would be little to none if the cat was flowing good

i need to find these clamps he speaks of

Check your local auto parts store. If you can't find them there, I know summit racing has them.

Hey there i just fixed that problem in my car, i work at canadian tire so i was able to do the work on my own, but if you can find i way to lift your car, cut the exhaust about 2 inches from the catalytic convertor and take a pry bar and a hammer and punch it all through , break up the inside of the cat and then start the car up to blast it all out, then put a peice of pipe over the cut part and clamp it. thats what i did. I have no o2 codes in the car afterwards either, and as for loudness, it isnt that noticable.
