Hey i have 02 alero 2.2 ecotec with a 5 speed manual, i was wondering if i could and if anyone has towed a small trailer with that engine/transmission set up. I would like to tow a small utility trailer appx 200lbs with asportquad 200-250lbs with a bit of camping gear in the trunk, its nowhere near the gross weight but i just dont wanna stress my engine or cook my tranny because i am unsure if the 2.2 is meant for it. If i attempt this i wouldhavea tranny cooler and temp guage installed to be extra careful. If you know of someone who had done this or have a oppinion on it please let me know, i would like to have a quad but simply cannot afford a truck nor do i thinki need one forsuch a small setup

SO YOU WANNA KNOW IF 300 LBS WOULD HURT THE AUTO. PUT YOUR LARGE NEIGHBOR IN THE BACK SEAT AND SEE IF THE CAR KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE . I DOUBT IT. ADD A TRAILER I DONT THINK THE CAR WILL KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.
