alright so i have kind of a weird problem. Im trying to install a radio from an 02 alero into my 98 chevy monte carlo. I've searched google and a whole bunch of forums but i can not for the life of me find what color wire goes to what. I even borrowed a haynes manual for the car but the colors dont match up with the harness. No clue where else to look. I dont have access to the car so I can't use a tester to figure it out. Its a Bose AM/FM CD and the wires coming out are

Orange(large gauge assuming its 12V constant)

black w/stripe (also larger gauge assuming ground)

there are four sets of two wires twisted together assuming speakers

then theres two purples, a green, a grey, a smaller black one and a brown (all the same gauge(or close))

is this stereo supposed to have an external amp B/c there didnt appear to be one in the car the radio came from.

Any help would be awesome!and thanks in advance.

u could try buying a sterio wiring harness for the monte carlo they r under 10$ and u can find them pretty much anywhere car audio is sold, im not sure if u would be able to find one for that year but its worth a try.
